AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta Lynx raised more than $1,000 for The Salvation Army’s local relief efforts with their Black and Blue scrimmage on Tuesday.
The Lynx waived parking and admission in lieu of donations to The Salvation Army and the team also donated proceeds from Chuck-A-Puck.
“When you live in a great community, you have to do your part to ensure that it stays healthy and vibrant,” said director of game night operations and community relations Ben Lesshafft. “Working with The Salvation Army shows how many people are active behind the scenes, never receiving the credit they deserve despite their hard work. We just want to say thank you to each and every one of them.”
