Lynx’ Riddle Recalled To Portland

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta Lynx announced that left wing Jake Riddle has been recalled to the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League.

It is the third time that Riddle has been called up to Portland with whom he attended training camp. In his two previous trips, he has five shots in three games.

Selected in the eighth round (239th overall) by the Minnesota Wild in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, the 22-year-old Riddle has three points (1g-2a) and 15 penalty minutes in seven games with Augusta.

In his rookie season in 2004-05, the 6-foot-1 and 212-pound Riddle had 26 points (12g-14a) and 110 penalty minutes in 44 games with Peoria and 18 penalty minutes in 12 games with Wheeling.
