MacIntyre Reassigned To Grand Rapids
Knight Recalled From Toledo To Portland

TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo Storm announced that that the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League have reassigned goaltender Drew MacIntyre, who was named Rbk Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week on Monday, to Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League and that rookie defenseman Mike Knight has been recalled to the Portland Pirates of the AHL.

The Storm is the ECHL affiliate of the Red Wings and the San Jose Sharks of the NHL and the Griffins and the Cleveland Barons of the AHL.

Selected in the fourth round (121st overall) by Detroit in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft and under NHL contract to the Wings, the 22-year-old MacIntyre is 21-7-2 with two shutouts and is second in the ECHL with a goals-against average of 2.10. He is 8-3-0 with goals against of 2.53 and a save percentage of .908 in 12 games with Grand Rapids.
