MacIntyre Returns To Charlotte From Hartford

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte Checkers announced that left wing/defenseman Steve MacIntyre has been reassigned to the team by the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League.

The Checkers are the ECHL affiliate of the Wolf Pack of the AHL and the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League.

In 2004-05, the 25-year-old MacIntyre had 214 penalty minutes and five points (1g-4a) in 46 regular season games and four assists and 17 penalty minutes in 11 Kelly Cup Playoff games with Charlotte and 207 penalty minutes and two points (1g-1a) in 27 games with Hartford.

He split the season between ECHL and the AHL in 2003-04 as well, registering 217 penalty minutes and five points (1g-4a) in 61 games with Charlotte while also playing three games with Hartford.
