Magowan Returns To Toledo From Phantoms

TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo Storm announced that forward Ken Magowan has been reassigned from the Philadelphia Phantoms of the American Hockey League.

The 24-year-old, who did not score in four games with the Phantoms, leads Toledo with nine goals and he is tied for the ECHL lead with six power-play goals. He is tied for second on the team and tied for 11th in the league with 16 points in 10 games.

Selected in the seventh round (198th overall) by New Jersey in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, the 24-year-old Magowan, who attended training camp with Grand Rapids, had 49 points (21g-28a) and 107 penalty minutes in 69 games with Augusta in his first full professional season in 2004-05, earning a selection to the ECHL All-Star Game. He also played four games in the AHL with Albany scoring four points (2g-2a).
