Manchester Loans Neilson To Condors

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors announced that they have been loaned right wing Eric Neilson by the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League.

Selected in the fifth round (143rd overall) by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, the 21-year-old led Rimouski of the Quebec Major Hockey League in penalty minutes in three of his four seasons, including a career-high 341 minutes in 53 games in 2002-03.

In four seasons with Rimouski, the 6-foot-1 and 201-pound Neilson had 822 penalty minutes and 54 points (19g-35a) in 205 regular season games and 96 penalty minutes and four points (1g-3a) in 24 playoff games.
