Manchester Signs Seeley

MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Manchester Monarchs announced that they have signed defenseman Richard Seeley, who played with Trenton in 2001-02.

In 2000-01, Seeley had two assists and 18 penalty minutes in nine games with Trenton and 10 points (2g-8a) and 102 penalty minutes in 55 games with Lowell in the AHL.

In 2004-05, the 26-year-old Seeley split time in the AHL between Bridgeport, registering eight points (2g-6a) and 108 penalty minutes, and Norfolk, accumulating 17 penalty minutes in 12 games. Selected in the sixth round (137th overall) by Los Angeles in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft, he had 41 points (8g-33a) and 285 penalty minutes in 186 games with Manchester from 2001-04.
