Manitoba Assigns Keefe To Salmon Kings

VICTORIA, British Columbia – The Victoria Salmon Kings announced that Adam Keefe has been assigned to the team by the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League and that he is expected to play on Friday at Utah.

The Salmon Kings are the ECHL affiliate of the Moose of the AHL and the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League.

The 22-year-old has not played in a game after suffering an injury in training camp.

In his rookie year in 2005-06, the 5-foot-10 and 195-pound Keefe had five points (3g-2a) and led Manitoba with 158 penalty minutes while also playing in the ECHL with Toledo where he had 21 points ( 10g-11a) and 174 penalty minutes in 28 regular season games and two goals and 50 penalty minutes in 11 games in the Kelly Cup Playoffs.
