Manitoba Assigns Rookie Stephenson To Idaho
Steelheads Receive Naurov From Dallas

BOISE, Idaho – The Idaho Steelheads announced that the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League have reassigned forward Alexander Naurov to Idaho and that the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League have reassigned rookie defenseman Matt Stephenson to the Steelheads.

The Steelheads are the ECHL affiliate of the Stars.

It was also announced that Dallas has reassigned forward John Lammers to Houston of the AHL and that forward Mark Bomersback has been loaned to Providence of the AHL.

Selected in the fourth round (134th overall) by Dallas in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, the 23-year-old Naurov had seven points (1g-6a) and 18 penalty minutes in 40 games with Idaho in 2007-08. He was reassigned by the Stars to Bakersfield on Mar. 5 and he had 10 points (1g-9a) and eight penalty minutes in 13 regular season games and five points (2g-3a) and 10 penalty minutes in six Kelly Cup Playoff games.

The 22-year-old Stephenson has played the last four years at St. Cloud State University where he had 51 points (7g-44a) and 159 penalty minutes in 141 games.
