Manitoba Signs Derlago, Rallo

WINNIPEG, Manitoba – The Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League announced that they have signed Bakersfield left wing Mark Derlago and two-time ECHL All-Star Greg Rallo.

The Victoria Salmon Kings are the ECHL affiliate of the Moose.

In his first professional season in 2007-08, the 22-year-old Derlago had 57 points (39g-18a) and 65 penalty minutes in 68 regular season games and six points (2g-4a) and four penalty minutes in six Kelly Cup Playoff games with Bakersfield while also playing for Manitoba where he had five points (2g-3a) and two penalty minutes in four games.

In his second full season in 2007-08, the 26-year-old Rallo had 36 points (17g-19a) and 47 penalty minutes in 39 regular season games with Idaho while also playing for Manitoba where he had nine points (4g-5a) and two penalty minutes in 13 regular season games and nine penalty minutes in three playoff games. He also played five games with Albany and two games with Rockford of the AHL.
