Masse Returns From Hershey To Reading

READING, Pa. – The Reading Royals announced that left wing David Masse has been returned from Hershey of the American Hockey League and is expected to be available for Tuesday’s game against Peoria.

Called up on November 18, the 6-1 and 190-pound Masse had seven power-play goals, 19 points (12g-7a) and 21 penalty minutes in 43 games with Hershey. He began the season with Reading and had four points (2g-2a) and 23 penalty minutes in 11 games before being called up.

In his first professional season in 2003-04, Masse led Reading with 14 points (6g-8a) in 14 postseason games and led league rookies in the Kelly Cup Playoffs with 14 goals, four power-play goals, six power-play assists, 10 power-play points and two game-winning goals.
