Mighty Ducks Sign Marsters

ANAHEIM, Calif. – The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim announced that they have agreed to terms with 2005 ECHL All-Star Game goaltender Nathan Marsters on a two-year contract.

In 2005-06 with Portland of the American Hockey League, the 25-year-old is 7-0-0 and ranks second in the league with a save percentage of .937 and fourth with a goals-against of 1.91 in nine games.

Selected in the fifth round (165th overall) by Los Angeles in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, Marsters led ECHL goaltenders with 54 games, 3108 minutes and 1660 saves and tied the league record with 30 losses as a rookie with Louisiana in 2004-05.
