WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – The Utah Grizzlies announced that center Jeff Miles has been returned from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.
The 24-year-old played three games for Milwaukee, but did not record a point.
Prior to being called up on Dec. 27, the 6-foot and 188-pound Miles had 30 points (12g-18a), including 13 power-play points (5g-8a) in 28 games with Utah and was tied for the team lead with seven multiple-point games.
In his first full professional season in 2004-05, Miles played in the ECHL All-Star Game and had 38 points (19g-19a) in 37 regular season games and six points (4g-2a) in five Kelly Cup Playoff games for Reading. Selected in the ninth round (268th overall) by Chicago in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, Miles also played in the AHL with Manchester scoring six points (5g-1a) in 28 games.
