Mill Named Wild Assistant GM

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League announced that they have named Jim Mill as assistant to general manager Chuck Fletcher.

Mill was the assistant director of hockey operations for the ECHL in 1997-98 and was also a goaltender in the ECHL, playing with Raleigh, Huntington, Roanoke and Tallahassee from 1992-96, and an assistant coach for Tallahassee in 1996-97.

Mill, who will report to Fletcher and help oversee the day-to-day operations of the Wild’s hockey operations department, will also serve as general manager for Houston of the American Hockey League.

Mill has worked the last 11 seasons in the AHL league office including the last two seasons as executive vice president of hockey operations.
