Mississippi’s Dumont Becomes Second
ECHL Player To Reach 700 Games

BILOXI, Miss. – Becoming only the second player in ECHL history to appear in 700 games, Louis Dumont scored a goal and had two assists to help Mississippi win its fifth straight game with a 6-3 win at Louisiana on Friday.

Dumont ranks second in the ECHL for career games behind Gwinnett’s Cam Brown, who played his 712th ECHL game on Friday against Augusta.

In his 11th season in the ECHL, Dumont is the league career leader with 508 assists and 816 points while ranking sixth with 308 goals. Dumont leads Mississippi and is tied for 14th in the ECHL with 62 points (19g-43a) in 66 games. He leads the Sea Wolves in assists (43), power-play assists (16), power-play points (22) and game-winning goals (5).
