Murphy Reassigned From Cleveland To Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Falcons announced that defenseman Cory Murphy has been reassigned from the Cleveland Barons of the American Hockey League.

The Falcons are the ECHL affiliate of the Barons of the AHL and the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League.

The 29-year-old is tied for second among ECHL defensemen with eight power-play goals and 26 power-play points while ranking fourth with 18 power-play assists and seventh in scoring with 35 points (10g-25a) in 38 games. He has two points (1g-1a) and 14 penalty minutes in six games with Cleveland.
