BOISE, Idaho – The Idaho Steelheads announced that defenseman Jeremy Mylymok and right wings Marty Flichel and Justin Cox will attend training camp.
The Steelheads are the ECHL affiliate of the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League and the Iowa Stars of the American Hockey League.
Mylymok was captain of the Steelheads in 2003-04 when Idaho won the Kelly Cup Championship, finishing with 21 points (5g-16a) and 146 penalty minutes in 64 regular season games and three assists and 38 penalty minutes in 18 Kelly Cup Playoff games. In 2004-05, the 33-year-old had two assists and 28 penalty minutes in 15 games.
Selected in the ninth round (228th overall) by the Dallas Stars in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft, the 29-year-old Flichel had 15 points (5g-10a) in 20 games with Idaho in 2004-05.
Selected in the sixth round (184th overall) by the Dallas Stars in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, the 24-year-old Cox had eight points (4g-4a) in 17 regular season games and one assist in two Kelly Cup playoff games for Idaho in 2004-05 while also scoring six points (5g-1a) in 54 games with Utah of the AHL.
