Nagle named Reebok Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Pat Nagle of the Florida Everblades is the Reebok Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week for Jan. 7-13. He also won the award for the week ending Feb. 19, 2012.

The 25-year-old was 3-0-0 with a 2.00 goals-against average and a .941 save percentage in three appearances against Toledo last week.

Nagle opened the week with 25 saves in a 4-1 win on Wednesday, stopped 38 of 40 shots in a 3-2 victory on Friday and ended the week with 33 saves in a 4-3 win on Saturday.

A native of Bloomfield, Mich., Nagle has appeared in 16 games with the Everblades this season posting a record of 8-5-1 with a 3.36 goals-against average and a save percentage of .894.

Under contract to the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League, Nagle has seen action in 55 career regular-season games with Florida where he is 28-19-4 with one shutout, a 3.01 goals-against average and a save percentage of .902. Last season, in six Kelly Cup Playoff games with the Everblades he was 4-1 with two shutouts, a 1.42 goals-against average and a save percentage of .941.

Runners Up: Scott Greenham, Bakersfield (2-0-0, 1.00 GAA, .975 save pct.), Zoltan Hetenyi, Cincinnati (1-0-1, 0.48 GAA, .986 save pct.) and Ken Reiter, Fort Wayne (2-0-0, 1.41 GAA, .961 save pct.).

Also Nominated: Paul Karpowich (Evansville), Mike Lee (Gwinnett), Joel Martin (Kalamazoo), Joe Fallon (Las Vegas), Jeff Jakaitis (South Carolina) and Jordan Pearce (Toledo).
