Nailers’ Chiodo Reassigned
To Wilkes-Barre/Scranton

WHEELING, W.Va. – The Wheeling Nailers announced that the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League have reassigned goaltender Andy Chiodo to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League.

The Nailers are the ECHL affiliate of Pittsburgh of the NHL and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL.

Selected in the seventh round (199th overall) by the Penguins in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, the 22-year-old is 5-1-0 with a goals-against average of 3.45 and a save percentage of .868 in six games for Wheeling.
