Nailers’ Franck Signed By Syracuse

WHEELING, W.Va. – The Wheeling Nailers announced that goaltender Andy Franck has signed a professional tryout agreement with the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League.

The 25-year-old, who will join Syracuse for its game against Springfield on Friday, is 18-19-2 with two shutouts, a goals-against average of 3.54 and a save percentage of .896 in 39 games for Wheeling.

He leads ECHL goals in games played, minutes (2,272) and saves (1,154) and is tied for third in wins.
