Nailers Receive Stone From Wilkes-Barre/Scranton

WHEELING, W.Va. – The Wheeling Nailers announced that the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League have reassigned rookie center Ryan Stone (pictured) from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League to Wheeling and that defenseman Andy Schneider has been reassigned from Wheeling to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

The Nailers are the ECHL affiliate of Pittsburgh of the NHL and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL.

Selected in the second round (32nd overall) by Pittsburgh in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, the 20-year-old has 14 points (5g-9a) and a plus-minus rating of +7 in 18 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
