WHEELING, W.Va. – The Wheeling Nailers on Thursday unveiled new home, road and third jerseys designed and created by licensed ECHL jersey supplier SP Apparel, Inc. In the eight seasons since the team changed its name to Nailers there have been variations made to the team’s jerseys, but this is the first completely new look.
The home jersey has a white body with red underneath both arms and on the shoulders and black trim on the sleeves, around the neck and across the bottom. The road jersey will have a black body with red underneath both arms and on the shoulders. The front of both the home and the road jersey will feature the team’s primary logo.
The alternate third jersey will have a gold body with black on the shoulders and across the bottom and red, white and black stripes on the sleeves and across the bottom. The front of the jersey will have “Nailers” in block lettering going diagonally from the right shoulder to the left hip. The third jersey will be worn predominantly for Sunday home games.
