New Jersey Reassigns Khomutov To Titans
Trenton Signs Slusher

TRENTON, N.J. – The Trenton Titans announced that the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League have reassigned center Ivan Khomutov from the Lowell Devils of the American Hockey League to the Titans. The team also announced that they have signed defenseman Jason Slusher.

The Titans are owned and operated by the New Jersey Devils. Trenton is the ECHL affiliate of New Jersey and the Philadelphia Flyers of the NHL and Lowell and the Philadelphia Phantoms of the AHL.

Selected in the third round (93rd overall) by New Jersey in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft and under NHL contract to the Devils, the 22-year-old Khomutov is in his third professional season and has two points (1g-1a) in two games.

The 24-year-old Slusher was invited to training camp by Trenton before signing in the Southern Professional Hockey League where he had 21 points (2g-19a) and 74 penalty minutes in 53 games for Pee Dee.
