Trenton Receives Rookie Tarkir From Lowell

TRENTON, N.J. – The Trenton Devils announced that rookie defenseman Zach Tarkir has been assigned to the team from the Lowell Devils of the American Hockey League, and that the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League have reassigned right wing Pierre-Luc Leblond from Trenton to Lowell.

The Trenton Devils are owned and operated by the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League and are the ECHL affiliate of New Jersey and Lowell of the American Hockey League.

Selected in the fifth round (167th overall) by New Jersey in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, the 6-foot and 185-pound Tarkir has four assists and two penalty minutes in 10 games with Lowell.
