Oilers Reassign Young From Stockton To Wilkes-Barre/Scranton

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Stockton Thunder announced that the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League have reassigned rookie defenseman Bryan Young from Stockton to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League.

The Thunder is the ECHL affiliate of the Oilers of the NHL.

Selected in the fifth round (146th overall) by Edmonton in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft and under NHL contract to the Oilers, the 20-year-old has five assists and 24 penalty minutes in 17 games with the Thunder and six penalty minutes in 22 games with Milwaukee of the AHL.
