Olkinuora went 2-0-0 with a 1.00 goals-against average and a save percentage of .975 in two appearances at Alaska last week.
The 24-year-old stopped 42 shots in a 4-1 win on Wednesday and made 35 saves in a 2-1 victory on Saturday.
A native of Helsinki, Finland, Olkinuora finished the 2014-15 season fifth in the ECHL with 27 wins, tied for fifth with a 2.41 goals-against average and eighth with a .916 save percentage. He also went 2-1-0 in four appearances with St. John’s of the American Hockey League.
Under contract to the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League, Olkinuora has appeared in 70 career games with Ontario posting an overall record of 41-20-7 with two shutouts, a 2.64 goals-against average and a save percentage of .905.
Prior to turning pro, he played two seasons at the University of Denver and one season with Sioux Falls in the United States Hockey League.
