Olson Recalled From Fresno To Cleveland

The Fresno Falcons announced that rookie left wing Glenn Olson has been recalled to Cleveland of the American Hockey League. Fresno is the ECHL affiliate of San Jose of the NHL and Cleveland of the American Hockey League.

In his first professional season and under contract to San Jose, the 6-4 and 220-pound Olson had one assist and 105 penalty minutes in 10 games with Fresno. He has five penalty minutes in two games with Cleveland and nine penalty minutes in four games with Johnstown of the ECHL.

In 2003-04 with Kootenay of the Western Hockey League, the 20-year-old Olson had 126 penalty minutes and three points (2g-1a) in 41 regular season games and eight penalty minutes in four playoff games.
