Omaha Assigns Pardy To Wranglers

LAS VEGAS – The Las Vegas Wranglers announced that they have been assigned defenseman Adam Pardy from the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights of the American Hockey League.

Las Vegas is the ECHL affiliate of the Knights of the AHL and the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League.

Selected in the sixth round (173rd overall) by Calgary in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, the 21-year-old made his professional debut in Omaha’s 1-0 win at Iowa on October 8.

In 2004-05 with Cape Breton of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, the 6-foot-3 and 225-pound Pardy set career highs for games (69), goals (12), assists (27), points (39) and penalty minutes (163).
