Pair Of Trenton Defensemen Move Up To Lowell

TRENTON, N.J. – The Trenton Titans announced that the Lowell Devils of the American Hockey League have recalled rookie defenseman Olivier Magnan and that the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League have reassigned defenseman Bryan Miller to Lowell.

The Titans are owned and operated by the New Jersey Devils. Trenton is the ECHL affiliate of New Jersey and the Philadelphia Flyers of the NHL and Lowell and the Philadelphia Phantoms of the AHL.

Selected in the fifth round (148th overall) by New Jersey and under AHL contract to Lowell, the 20-year-old Magnan, who played his first AHL game on Sunday against Providence, has 10 points (1g-9a) and 63 penalty minutes in 45 games with Trenton.

In his second full professional season and under NHL contract to New Jersey, the 23-year-old Miller has 20 points (4g-16a) and 16 penalty minutes in 34 games with Trenton and four assists and two penalty minutes in seven games with Lowell.
