Panthers Assign Rookie DeLory To Everblades

ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades announced that the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League have assigned rookie defenseman James DeLory to the Everblades.

The Everblades are the ECHL affiliate of the Panthers and the Carolina Hurricanes of the NHL and the Rochester Americans and the Albany River Rats of the AHL.

Selected in the fourth round (98th overall) by the San Jose Sharks in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, the 20-year-old DeLory has played the last four years in the Ontario Hockey League where he had 84 points (13g-71a) and 539 penalty minutes in 243 regular season games and 13 points (1g-12a) and 42 penalty minutes in 24 playoff games for Oshawa.

It was also announced that forwards Riley Emmerson and Jacob Micflikier have been called up to the AHL by the Houston Aeros and the Rochester Americans, respectively.
