Panthers Reassign Everblades’ Taylor To Rochester

ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades announced that the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League have reassigned forward Adam Taylor to the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.

The Everblades are the ECHL affiliate of the Panthers and the Stanley Cup champion Carolina Hurricanes of the NHL and the Albany River Rats of the AHL.

Selected in the seventh round (224th overall) by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft and under NHL contract to the Florida Panthers, the 22-year-old has 35 points (17g-18a) and 36 penalty minutes in 31 games with the Everblades while also playing for Victoria, where he had six points (1g-5a) and 12 penalty minutes in 15 games, and Pensacola, where he had 11 points (3g-8a) and 12 penalty minutes in 15 games.
