TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo Storm announced that forward Sam Paolini has been called up to San Antonio of the American Hockey League. Paolini will be available for the Rampage’s game at Cleveland on Tuesday.
Paolini leads Toledo with 34 points (9g-25a) in 39 games. It is the second call up of the season for Paolini, who played with Utah on December 3.
In his first professional season in 2003-04, the 24-year-old Paolini scored 46 points (18g-28a) in 63 regular season ECHL games and three points (1g-2a) in four Kelly Cup Playoff games with Atlantic City. He also played in the American Hockey League, scoring one point (0g-1a) in one game with Cleveland and one point (1g-0a) in four games with Rochester.
