Pensacola Receives Courchaine, Rooneem From Aeros

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Pensacola Ice Pilots announced that rookie center Adam Courchaine and left wing Mark Rooneem have been reassigned from the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League.

Selected in the fourth round (115th overall) by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft and under contract to the Aeros, the 22-year-old Rooneem has six points (2g-4a) and 10 penalty minutes in 14 games with Pensacola and one goal and 10 penalty minutes in six games with Houston.

Selected in the seventh round (219th overall) by the Minnesota Wild in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft and under contract to the Aeros, the 21-year-old Courchaine is tied for the Pensacola team lead with 10 goals and has 17 points in 14 games with the Ice Pilots and has played seven games with Houston.
