Peoria Assigns Five Players To Aces

PEORIA, Ill. – The Peoria Rivermen of the American Hockey League announced that they have assigned left wing John-Scott Dickson, goaltender Matt Underhill, center Cam Keith, right wing Mike Lee and defenseman Zack Fitzgerald to the Alaska Aces.

The Aces are the ECHL affiliate of the Rivermen and the St. Louis Blue of the National Hockey League.

Selected in the third round (88th overall) by St. Louis in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, the 20-year-old Fitzgerald played the last four season with Seattle in the Western Hockey League, registering 76 points (22g-54a) and 853 penalty minutes in 248 regular season games and nine assists and 76 penalty minutes in 34 playoff games.

Peoria also announced that it sent defensemen Gerry Burke to the Toledo Storm; center Brian Collins to the Johnstown Chiefs and center Chris Durno to the Gwinnett Gladiators.
