Peoria Trio Reassigned To Worcester

PEORIA, Ill. – The Peoria Rivermen have announced that goaltender Alfie Michaud, rookie center Kris Kasper and rookie left wing Justin Maiser have been reassigned to Worcester of the American Hockey League. Peoria is the ECHL affiliate of Worcester of the AHL and St. Louis of the National Hockey League.

Under contract to Worcester, the 5-10 and 177-pound Michaud is 17-8-4 with three shutouts and a save percentage of .929 while ranking second in the ECHL with a goals-against average of 2.03.

Michaud, who was the ECHL Goaltender of the Year in 2002-03, is 1-0-0-0 with a goals-against average of 2.17 and a save percentage of .917 with Worcester in 2004-05.
