PRINCETON, N.J. – The ECHL announced on Tuesday that Valerie Persinger has been promoted to Director of Business Operations and New Media. She will begin her new duties immediately.
Persinger joined the ECHL in July 2013 as Executive/Marketing Assistant and was promoted to Manager of Business Operations in December 2014. Prior to joining the ECHL, she worked as a Project Coordinator with Precision Sports Entertainment and also interned for the communications department of the National Hockey League, where she worked on the 2012 Winter Classic in Philadelphia and the 2012 NHL All-Star Game in Ottawa. A native of Short Hills, N.J., Persinger was awarded her bachelor’s degree in public relations and journalism from Seton Hall University.
In her new role, Persinger will be continue to assist in all aspects of the League’s business, while also overseeing the ECHL’s digital strategy and reach on new media platforms.
