Phoenix Agrees To Terms With Pecker, Gaustad

PHOENIX – The Phoenix Roadrunners announced that they have agreed to terms with right wing Cory Pecker and forward B.J. Gaustad.

Selected in the sixth round (166th overall) by the Calgary Flames in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, the 24-year-old Pecker played in both the American Hockey League and the ECHL in 2004-05. He had 12 points (4g-8a) in 49 games with Cincinnati and two points (1g-1a) in 12 regular season games and one goal in five playoff games with Manitoba while also scoring one goal in three games with San Diego.

The 26-year-old Gaustad has helped Muskegon capture back-to-back United Hockey League Championships and in 2004-05 posted career highs with 29 goals and 52 points in 77 regular season games while finishing third in the league in plus-minus rating at +36.
