Rangers Reassign Falardeau From Hartford To Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte Checkers announced that the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League have reassigned center Lee Falardeau from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League to Charlotte.

The Checkers are the ECHL affiliate of the Rangers of the NHL and the Wolf Pack of the AHL.

Selected in the second round (33rd overall) by New York in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft and under NHL contract to the Rangers, the 23-year-old has three points (1g-2a) and 22 penalty minutes in 16 games with Hartford.

In his second professional season in 2005-06, the 6-foot-4 and 215-pound Falardeau had 22 points (5g-17a) and 22 penalty minutes in 64 regular season games and three assists and six penalty minutes in 11 Kelly Cup Playoff games for Charlotte while also playing in the AHL with Hartford where he had four points (2g-2a) in six games.
