Rangers Reassign Jessiman To Hartford
Rodney Returns To Charlotte From Wolf Pack

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte Checkers announced that the New York Rangers have reassigned rookie right wing Hugh Jessiman (pictured) to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League and that rookie defenseman Bryan Rodney has been returned to Charlotte from Hartford.

The Checkers are the ECHL affiliate of the Rangers of the NHL and Hartford of the AHL.

Selected in the first round (12th overall) by New York in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft and under contract to the Rangers, the 21-year-old Jessiman has 23 points (13g-10a) and 56 penalty minutes in 24 games with Charlotte and two penalty minutes in seven games with Hartford.

The 21-year-old Rodney has 17 points (3g-14a) and 18 penalty minutes in 36 games with Charlotte and one goal in two games with Hartford.
