Red Wings Return MacIntyre To Toledo

TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo Storm announced that the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League have reassigned goaltender Drew MacIntyre to Toledo from the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League.

MacIntyre was reassigned to Grand Rapids on Feb. 10, but did not appear in any games.

The Storm is the ECHL affiliate of the Red Wings and the San Jose Sharks of the NHL and the Griffins and the Cleveland Barons of the AHL.

Selected in the fourth round (121st overall) by Detroit in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft and under NHL contract to the Wings, the 22-year-old is 7-1-2 with a shutout, a goals-against average of 2.52 and a save percentage of .916 in 10 games with Toledo and 8-3-0 with a goals-against average of 2.53 and a save percentage of .908 in 12 games with Grand Rapids.
