Reign Open First Training Camp Friday

ONTARIO, Calif. – The Ontario Reign announced that their first training camp has been rescheduled for 3-5 p.m. at Riverside Ice Town in Riverside, Calif.

The Reign are the ECHL affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League and the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League.

The Reign also announced that six players from the Sept. 29-30 free agent tryout camp have been invited to training camp. The players chosen are centers Alex Redmond and Mike Thomson, left wing CJ Tozzo, defensemen Brian Cooke and Scott Raisanen and right wing Itan Chavira.

The first professional sports team in Ontario, Calif., the Reign begin play in the ECHL in 2008-09 and play their first home game on Oct. 25 at the new state-of-the-art Citizens Business Bank Arena, a $130 million multi-purpose facility with 9,736 seats as well as 36 suites, a continuous concourse and a VIP club.
