ONTARIO, Calif. – Geoff Walker must be getting used to wearing a variety of jerseys.

He was the only Reign player at Citizens Business Bank Arena on Friday to model one of the orange and white ECHL All-Star uniforms that will be worn at the annual skills competition and game, which comes to town Jan. 19 and 20, 2010.

Walker soon will don black and purple at the Kings’ camp and train with NHL players on a pro tryout contract.

“I’m just trying to be a sponge,” Walker said, “and copy anything they do.”

Walker impressed the Kings enough at their development camp in July to become the first Reign signee to earn an NHL tryout. He has been grinding through the six-hour-a-day schedule since the beginning of August.
