Riddle Agrees To Terms With Augusta

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta Lynx announced that they have agreed to terms with forward Jake Riddle, who split his rookie season in the ECHL between Wheeling and Peoria.

The 22-year-old Riddle had 26 points (12g-14a) and 110 penalty minutes in 44 games with Peoria and 18 penalty minutes in 12 games with Wheeling.

Selected in the eighth round (239th overall) by the Minnesota Wild in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, the 21-year-old Riddle played in the Western Hockey League in 2003-04, finishing with 36 points (18g-18a) and 139 penalty minutes in 53 games with Lethbridge while scoring three points (0g-3a) in seven games with Tri-City and one point (0g-1a) in five games with Saskatoon.

In four seasons in the WHL, the 6-1 and 212-pound Riddle scored 166 points (79g-87a) and had 564 penalty minutes in 274 regular season games and five points (1g-4a) and 20 penalty minutes in 17 playoff games with Seattle, Tri-City, Saskatoon and Lethbridge.
