Berkstresser, 30, returns to Greenville for his fourth season with the Road Warriors. Last season, the alternate captain reached career highs in assists with 23 and penalty minutes with 108. His 37 points were fifth most on the Road Warriors last season. Berkstresser is the only player remaining with the organization since the move from Johnstown four years ago. The Apollo, Pa. native is also one of six players remaining from last season’s roster who were present for the opening season in Greenville in 2010.
Lowry, 25, finished off his 2012-13 year with nine games played in a Road Warriors’ sweater. During his brief stint he tallied one goal and added three assists. Lowry began the year at the University of Manitoba where he compiled the team’s second highest goal total with 12 and nine assists in 28 games played. The Neepawa, Manitoba native has 56 prior games played in the ECHL with the Elmira Jackals and 12 games played in the AHL with the Binghamton Senators.
