Jean returns to the Road Warriors after guiding the team to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time in team history last season. The 24-year-old tallied 12 points (7g-5a) in Greenville’s 15 playoff games and his seven goals were tied for first on the team during the postseason. Jean also had a nine-game point streak during the postseason, notching 10 points (5g-5a) over that span. The Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. native bounced back and forth between Hartford and Greenville during the 2013-14 regular season. Jean skated in 24 games with the Road Warriors scoring 16 points (4g-12a) and appeared in 41 games with Hartford scoring four points (2g-2a).
The 24-year-old spent his entire rookie season in the American Hockey League with the Connecticut Whale in 2012-13, notching 23 points (9g-14a) in 73 games. Prior to turning pro, he played two seasons at Lake Superior State University from 2010-12, recording 38 points (13g-15a) in 77 games.
