GREENVILLE, SC – The Greenville Road Warriors will be hosting their first ever "Pucks for Pups" Dog Night at the March 5 game against the Elmira Jackals at 7:05 p.m. Fans are encouraged to bring their dogs to the game for this one night, which is presented by Camp Bow Wow. In honor of Dog Night, the Greenville Grrrowl will be honored at the BI-LO Center that evening.
Leading up to this game, the Road Warriors will conduct an email contest asking fans to send in pictures of their dogs dressed up in their most creative outfits. Road Warriors-themed costumes are highly encouraged. Pictures should be emailed into the Road Warriors by March 3, and the front office staff will vote on the Top-5 puppy finalists. Those finalists will then get to parade on the ice during Dog Night where fans will determine, by a round of applause, the canine winner.
To enter the contest, dress your dog in your most creative costume, take a photograph and email your entry to [email protected] by Wednesday, March 3, along with your dog’s name and breed. The top five finalists will be voted on by the front office staff and contacted. During the second intermission of the Dog Night game, the finalists will walk with their dogs onto the ice where fans in attendance will be shown the entry photo on the video board and cheer for the winning doggie costume. A special prize package will be awarded to the winning dog and owner that evening.
