RoadRunners Acquire McKee From Augusta

PHOENIX – The Phoenix RoadRunners announced that they have acquired goaltender Dave McKee from the Augusta Lynx in exchange for defenseman Nick Toneys and future considerations.

The RoadRunners are the ECHL affiliate of the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League and the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League.

The 23-year-old McKee is 0-1-0 with a goals-against average of 8.52 and a save percentage of .806 in one start with Augusta while also playing in the AHL where he is 0-2-0 with a goals-against average of 5.11 and a save percentage of .841 in two games for Iowa.

He was 29-15-2 with a shutout, a goals-against average of 3.35 and a save percentage of .898 in 52 games as a rookie for Augusta in 2006-07 while also playing in the AHL where he was 5-2-0 with a shutout, a goals-against average of 2.85 and a save percentage of .899 with Portland. He also spent time as a backup goaltender for the Ducks in the NHL, but did not play in a game.
