Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders

PHOENIX – The Phoenix RoadRunners announced that the team’s inaugural “Face-Off Against Kids Cancer” program raised almost $15,000 for the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

Originated by the Mississippi Sea Wolves of the ECHL in 2003 and later duplicated by the Atlantic City (N.J.) Boardwalk Bullies of the ECHL in 2004 and 2005, “Face-Off Against Kids Cancer” has touched hundreds of lives and raised thousands of dollars in the fight against cancer.

The RoadRunners are the ECHL affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League and the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League.
