Boise, Idaho – Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Brad Ralph announced that goaltender Josh Robinson has been reassigned to the Idaho Steelheads by the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League.
The Steelheads are the ECHL affiliate of Texas and the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League.
The 23-year-old Robinson is in his second professional season out of Michigan Tech. Last season, he ranked among the ECHL’s leaders in wins (27), shutouts (5), save percentage (..925) and goals-against average (2.57) to earn team Most Valuable Player honors.
This season, Robinson has made two starts with Idaho, going 1-1-0 with a 3.00 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage. He has appeared in four games with Texas going 2-1-0 with one shutout, a 2.49 goals-against average and an .893 save percentage.
