Rochester Assigns DeLory To Cyclones

CINCINNATI, Ohio – The 2010 Kelly Cup Champion Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that defenseman James DeLory has been assigned by the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.

DeLory, a 2006 San Jose Sharks fourth round draft pick, comes to the Queen City after spending the preseason with Rochester. Prior to skating in the Americans training camp, the six-foot-five defenseman played for the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs of the Central Hockey League – where he posted a pair of goals and one assist in 36 games last season. DeLory also spent many years playing in the OHL with the Oshawa Generals, collecting 94 points (17g-77a) in 215 games.
